Meet the OrthoIndy Trauma Team
The OrthoIndy Trauma Team consists of seven board certified, fellowship trained, private practice orthopaedic trauma surgeons, providing orthopaedic trauma care at a St. Vincent's Level I Trauma Center.
Renn Crichlow, MD
Dr. Crichlow received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA after receiving a degree in Kinesiology from Simon Frasier University in Vancouver, British Columbia. Following his medical degree, he completed an internship in general surgery at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
Dr. Crichlow fulfilled an orthopaedic surgery residency at Harvard Combined Orthopaedics Program, which is based in the Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women’s hospitals in Boston. He pursued his subspecialty training in orthopaedic traumatology at the world renowned Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Gregory Dikos, MD
Dr. Gregory Dikos graduated cum laude from the University of Cincinnati, receiving his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry in 2000. In 2004, he received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2009. Dr. Dikos completed two orthopedic trauma fellowships.
In 2009, he was awarded the Jack McDaniel Memorial AO Fellowship and studied at the Hannover Medical School in Hannover, Germany. In 2010, he completed the Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.

Michael Robertson, MD
Dr. Michael Robertson went to Stanford University for undergrad where he was also the Men’s Co-Captain for the track and field team. After graduation, he represented Team USA in the Olympics, Pan-Am Games and World Championships. Once he hung up his cleats, he attended the University of Arkansas for medical school, graduating in 2016.
Dr. Robertson completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2021 where he received both the Resident Citizen Award and the Alan E. Freeland Resident Research Award.
In 2022, he completed his fellowship in orthopedic trauma surgery at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

David Kaehr, MD
Dr. Kaehr was born in Fort Wayne and received his undergraduate education from Purdue University. He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1982 and completed an internship at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio in 1983.
In 1987, Dr. Kaehr completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Wright State University and a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at Harborview Medical Center at the University of Washington in 1988.

Ian McAlister, MD
Dr. Ian McAlister received his bachelor’s in neuroscience from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in 2008. He received his medical degree from University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas in 2013, graduating with honors.
In 2018, Dr. McAlister completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Maryland. He then completed an orthopedic trauma fellowship at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma in Baltimore, Maryland in 2019.
Dr. McAlister is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

Greg Reveal, MD
Dr. Greg Reveal received his undergraduate degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio in 1990. In 1994, he received his medical degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Reveal completed a one year general surgery internship and his orthopedic surgical residency at Wright State University.
In 2001, he completed the Leonard Gordon Hand Fellowship in San Francisco, California. He then went on to complete the OrthoIndy Trauma Fellowship in 2006.

Timothy Weber, MD
Dr. Weber received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in 1985 and his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1989.
From 1989 to 1994, he did his post-graduate training in orthopedic surgery at Wayne State University School of Medicine where he served as academic chief resident from 1993-1994. He then accepted a one-year fellowship in orthopedic traumatology at the University of Washington’s Harborview Hospital.
